Do I have the correct Big Cat books?

Our Big Cat Phonics for Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised are the books that fully match our progression and can be ordered from your HarperCollins rep

Some Big Cat books that you may consider, might follow the former Letters and Sounds programme. These could be labelled as ‘phonic books’, ‘fully decodable’, or ‘linked to Letters and Sounds’. Detailed guidance on selecting and organising suitable decodable books from your existing stock is provided in the ‘Reading section’ of the website.

If you have Big Cat books that do not mention any of the labels above then they are not decodable and cannot be used for our programme.

If we do not have a matching grid for your book publisher then you can manually audit the book(s) yourself. Check our 'Guidance on auditing your book stock' document also in our Reading section.
