Do I need to move children up a year on the Assessments tracker myself?

No, you don’t.

The Assessments tracker team will move existing pupils up a year group automatically over the summer holiday (e.g. all Reception pupils will be made Year 1 pupils etc.). Please do not change that in the tracker yourselves.

But please note that we do not make any changes to class assignments. This is mainly because some schools change class names and/or mix classes as pupils progress through the school. At the beginning of the school year, you can log into the tracker and make any necessary class alterations in bulk from the Class tab.
