How do I challenge children in Rapid Catch-up?
If children following the Rapid Catch-up programme are not finding the pace and progression challenging enough but still need support to catch up with their peers, continue to follow the Rapid Catch-up programme but put a greater emphasis on practising spelling in words and sentences.
Please refer to our ‘Rapid Catch-up assessment overview’ document for more information.
You can find this by going to:
Weekly lesson content --> Assessment (Rapid Catch-up) --> Rapid Catch-up assessment overview and matching grids. Go to page 5.
