How do I use the book plans?
Unlike the Foundations for Phonics activities, which should be part of your children’s daily offer, the Foundations for a Love of Reading book plans provide an additional layer of support to help you create some fantastic learning experiences, which you can use once every half term.
Think of all the book plans as topic or theme planning.
Use them to help you create a range of adult-led sessions and continuous provision activities all linked to each wonderful book.
You can either spread the book plan over the half-term, or you can block it all into a one- or two-week period.
