How do I use the fluency assessments in Year 1 post PSC?

Once a child is assessed as reading at Phase 5 Set 3 book level, you can then use the corresponding fluency assessment. Continue to use the fluency assessments for children reading Phase 5 Set 4 and Phase 5 Set 5 books in Year 2.

The final assessment is a good way to confirm your judgement when you think a child who is reading Phase 5 Set 5 books might be ready to leave the programme.
