How long is the CPD training?

Here is a breakdown of each video module length for the Little Wandle CPD training:  

• Online CPD – an introduction – 6 minutes
• Module 1: Key features of effective phonics practice (and how Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised delivers) – 40 minutes
• Module 2: Consistency and how to achieve it in your school – 13 minutes
• Module 3: Key content of Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised in Reception and Year 1 – 20 minutes
• Module 4: Teaching a Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised lesson – 1 hour 1 minute
• Module 5: Application of phonics to early reading – 1 hour 6 minutes
• Module 6: Assessment – 1 hour 2 minutes

Total watch time: 4 hours, 28 minutes.

It will typically take around 5 hours to complete all of the training. 

Once this is complete, the Reading Leader can request for a training report and the results will be generated within 1-2 working days. You can re-take the training as many times as need be.
