How long should I teach the Foundations for a Love of Reading book plans for?
The book plans have adult-led and child-initiated activities suggested for each book for seven days.
These plans can be condensed into a daily session if you would like to teach the book for one week (just pick the activities you think will work best with your children!), spread out over two weeks, or taught once weekly over a half-term.
How you use the planning is up to you! The important thing is that children become really familiar with the story, learn lots of language from it and, most importantly, have a lot of fun!
