I already have Big Cat for Letters and Sounds but not six/enough of each copy. Which books should I buy?
The Big Cat for Little Wandle books and the original Big Cat Letter and Sounds books (2007) are not interchangeable. Whilst many books have the same title, they often have differences and so books of the same title, but of a different series, should not be used together.
Should you have the older books, our matching grid in the Getting started area matches the original Big Cat Letters and Sounds books to our progression. These books will not be in the same order as the Little Wandle books, which have been updated to match our progression exactly. For this reason, you cannot always match the Big Cat Letters and Sounds books to the Little Wandle books. Therefore if you have less than a full set of books, it is recommended to fill out the set with the same books. If possible, move on to the Little Wandle books.
The book ‘Maps’ has recently been updated – the Big Cat Letters and Sounds and the Little Wandle versions have different pages inside now.
