Do you teach handwriting and, if so, is there guidance for it?
Handwriting should be taught outside the phonics lesson. We use formation phrases for each letter; these can be found on the Phase 2 grapheme information sheets and in the weekly lesson grids.
We also provide our Letter formation practice sheets for use in class or to take home. These can be found by going to Programme content and resources --> Resources (Reception/Year 1) --> Use in class
