The ‘or’ and ‘ow’ graphemes are missing from the Reception Little Wandle at Home cards
All of the Phonics Screening Check graphemes are covered in the Little Wandle at Home pack for Year 1. Two Phase 3 graphemes also have different sounds at Phase 5: ‘or’ and ‘ow’. The decision was that duplicating these cards so that they would appear on both a teal Phase 3 card and a mustard Phase 5 card would cause confusion.
Therefore ‘or’ and ‘ow’ appear on cards with mustard borders, with the Phase 3 sound listed along with the Phase 5 alternate sound on the back:
