My colleague has an apostrophe in their email address and I can’t add them to our team
Emails with apostrophes are unfortunately an issue for our WordPress website and this is what we suggest as a workaround.
Please ask whoever is in charge of IT to create an alias on your colleague’s actual email account without the apostrophe.
Sometimes people will do that with commonly misspelt names, for example:
Will have an alias for
That catches any emails to the incorrect spelling and passes them to the actual mailbox. Then they don't need to create a new email address, they just use the alias on our site.
