Please can you explain which assessments go onto the tracker, and which don’t?

Assessment is fundamental to the success of Little Wandle as it tells you exactly where each child is with their phonic learning.

All the ongoing core programme assessments for Reception and Year 1 assessments go onto the tracker, this includes the Phase 5 review assessment (which is shown twice on the tracker to enable you to compare progress over time).

Placement, Rapid Catch-up, SEND and Little Wandle Spelling assessments all go onto separate spreadsheets which you’ll find in the Programme content areas of the website. Once you have added your assessment results, these spreadsheets produce all the data you need to plan next steps.
