Should we reteach the Bridge to spelling programme or carry on if most children only scored 50% in the assessment?
If your assessments for the Bridge to spelling are showing that your class still have lots of gaps, then please do plan to reteach any lessons where they need more support.
You can fill the blank Assess and review grids with the wobbly lessons to make a plan for your teaching.
Don’t worry if this takes several weeks, as you will still have time to teach the Spelling programme content.
Please refer to the Assessment area of Bridge to spelling for everything you need to know about reteaching.
