The capital i is shown as a straight line, without the lines at the top and bottom. Is there a reason for this?

The Little Wandle capital letters have been created to ensure the simplest letter formation for children. We have adapted the Sassoon font for some of the capital letters such as I and J so that they don't have unnecessary additions such as bars across the top. This ensures our capital letter formation phrases are simple and easy to follow.
