What additional resources would I need for Rapid Catch-up?

Do all schools need to buy extra resources for the Rapid Catch-up programmes?

If your school is doing Rapid Catch-up, the only resources that are essential for delivery of the programme are the word cards, which are purchased from HarperCollins.

There are optional books for 7+ with age-appropriate language and themes, which you may decide that your older pupils will benefit from. We recommend that you complete your assessments first, and then only buy the books you feel you need.

Can I use the main programme word cards for Rapid Catch-up? 

The Rapid Catch-up programme has its own specific word cards which must be purchased from HarperCollins. These are separate to the main programme cards.

Do we need to buy the new Blending practice and/or Stretch and challenge books?

No you do not. These books are entirely optional and should be purchased based on what you think you may or may not need for your school.
