What does Little Wandle Foundations offer for families?
We offer you guidance and a range of resources to help you support your families to engage with their children’s learning.
Our key message throughout is that parents should focus on talk, play and sharing books. By prioritising these three activities, they will be setting up their children for success. In this, we are totally aligned with the DfE’s What to expect in the EYFS guidance.
You can support families with:
- Parent handouts for each part of the Foundations programme through the Parents tab of the Getting Started: Foundations area of the website.
- Parent presentations through the same Parents tab. These can be used for whole classes, small groups or with individual parents.
- Nursery rhyme videos are free to access in the For parents part of our website.
- Suggestions for activities at home are included in each Rhyme time plan and Love of Reading book plan.
