What is the sequence when planning to use the SEND programme at Phase 2?
The sequence is very simple:
- Go to the planning area of the SEND programme and then click on Phase 2 where you will see a set of boxes.
- Each box breaks up the programme. Start in the 'satpinmdgoc' box.
- Teach the GPCs.
- Then teach blending.
- Use your judgement to work out how long to spend teaching each GPC, you will find there is oral blending in very lesson.
- When the child has secured the GPCs in the box start teaching blending using the grid.
- Take as long as you need to establish blending.
