What is your advice about worksheets and homework?
We get lots of questions about homework at Little Wandle, and they’re often tricky to answer as homework policies differ greatly from school to school.
Rather than providing homework materials, we offer guidance for teachers to support families – head to the ‘Engaging parents’ area to find out more. Use any opportunity you
have to communicate with families about how to best support their child at home. Take a look at our new blog on homework, which includes tips about engaging families with their child’s journey to becoming a fluent reader.
Also, direct families to the ‘For parents’ area of the website for lots of videos, guidance and materials to support their children's reading at home.
