What should we tell our families about teaching GPCs in Nursery?
Here's a useful blog to share with your families.
For many parents when their child starts in Nursery, the world of the EYFS can be a mystery, with terminology and approaches that we take for granted but which, for some families, are completely new!
In this strange new world, learning to read and write can feel like the most familiar part of education, and so it is no surprise that some parents feel this should be the number one priority at their child’s Nursery. This is often particularly true for parents who have invested time in teaching their child to read and write letters at home.
