Why wasn’t Little Wandle Handwriting published for the start of the school new year?

We wanted to ensure that the programme was completely aligned with the new Writing Framework (DfE), published in July 2025.

The team at Collins, working in collaboration with Little Wandle, has been very busy since the publication of the framework to develop a programme that fully supports our members to implement the new guidance and works alongside our core phonics programme.
