Your programme uses the term ‘tricky words’. These are now called Common Exception Words in the National Curriculum. Can you explain why you have chosen to continue to call them tricky words?

We have retained the term tricky word from Letters and Sounds as that is what schools have called them. Other programmes use their own terminology as well.
