I’m trying to log in to my account and I’m getting a Content restricted message
We have recently upgraded our servers which use different IP addresses. Any cookies that a user has set from before our server upgrade will now be invalid and will be replaced with a fresh login.
The easiest fix is to clear cookies as this creates a fresh blank slate for you to login again for the first time. A guide to clearing all cookies for different browsers can be found here:
https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-delete-cookies-2617981
However, if for any reason you do not wish to clear all your cookies (perhaps because you need to remain signed in elsewhere etc) it is possible to clear cookies on a per site basis.
In Google Chrome:
- Visit the Little Wandle website.
- In the address bar, click the padlock icon.
- Select the Cookies and site data option.
- Click Manage Cookies and site data.
- Click the trash can icon next to any cookies present, such as littlewandlelettersandsounds.org.uk.
- You will be prompted to reload the page. Do this, then visit the login page.
- You should be able to login again as normal.
In Firefox:
- Visit the Little Wandle website.
- In the address bar, click the padlock icon.
- Select the Clear cookies and site data option.
- Click Remove.
- Reload the page and then visit the login page.
- You should be able to login again as normal.
In Safari:
- Go to Safari > Preferences.
- Select Privacy.
- Click the Manage Website Data button.
- In the box, search for "littlewandle".
- Delete any cookies that appear.
- Reload the page and then visit the login page.
- You should be able to login again as normal.
If you are still having issues, please take a screen recording of the issue and email it to us (enquiries@littlewandle.org.uk) so that we can assist further.
